Philadelphia, PA Moving Labor — Rowhomes, Walk-Ups and High-Rise Moves
Philadelphia is a rowhome city, and rowhomes are stair work. Trinities in Queen Village and Bella Vista, three-story rows in South Philly and Fishtown, walk-ups in Northern Liberties and Manayunk, student apartments around Temple University, Penn and Drexel University, and high-rises off Rittenhouse Square with elevator reservations and loading docks. Parking is the other fight. A trinity is one piece at a time up a stair that turns twice. A Fishtown row is a long carry to a truck that cannot sit long. A Center City high-rise is a dock window and building paperwork before anyone lifts a box. TitanForce Movers comes in from Berks County for the lifting. Have a move date on Broad Street or anywhere in the city? Call 484-291-7444.
Labor-only service: TitanForce Movers does not provide or arrange transportation. Customers independently rent and control their vehicle or contract and pay an authorized carrier directly.
What a move here looks like
Brick rowhomes and trinities with steep, narrow stairs make up most of the city, alongside converted walk-ups and newer high-rise apartments that require elevator reservations and move-in paperwork from building management. Street parking and loading zones are tight, so truck placement needs a plan.

Questions before you call
Labor only, answered plainly.
- Can you load a truck on a narrow South Philly street with no legal parking?
- We plan for it. You arrange any temporary no-parking signs with the city; tell us the block when you call and we plan the staging and the load around where the truck can legally sit. Boxes and furniture come down to the front room first, then go out in one steady run once the truck is in place, so it is not on the street any longer than it has to be.
- My Center City building needs movers to use the freight elevator and a loading dock. Can you work with that?
- Usually. Book the elevator window with your building and ask what paperwork they require from outside movers, then tell us on the call before you lock the date. We work inside the window you book; hallway and elevator pads are on you or the building, and we bring straps, dollies and the muscle.
- Can you do both ends of a Fishtown-to-Manayunk move in one day?
- Yes, when both ends are booked as one job. We load the row in Fishtown, you drive the truck across the city, and we unload at the Manayunk end and set the furniture where you want it. Manayunk streets are steep and the houses are stacked, so tell us both layouts and both parking situations when you call.
