Moving labor service

PODS & Container Loading in Reading, PA

A portable container is a different job from a rental truck. It usually stays at your home for days, so no truck is due back that evening, but most containers come with a delivery date and a pickup date to work inside. TitanForce carries your furniture and boxes out and loads the container in sections, spreading the weight and tying off each section with the rope or straps agreed for the job. When the container reaches your new address, or comes back from storage, we can unload it into the rooms you name. You order and pay for the container yourself. TitanForce is independent and is not affiliated with PODS, U-Haul or any other container company.

Labor-only service: TitanForce Movers does not provide or arrange transportation. Customers independently rent and control their vehicle or contract and pay an authorized carrier directly.

What we do

  • Carry furniture and boxes from the rooms to the container and load from the front wall back, floor to ceiling.
  • Spread the weight evenly from side to side and from end to end, with the heaviest pieces low.
  • Tie off each section with the rope or straps confirmed for the job, using the container's tie-down points where it has them.
  • Pad furniture with the moving blankets confirmed for the job and fill gaps to limit shifting.
  • Load the last section so the door can close and latch.
  • Unload a delivered container and place furniture and boxes in the rooms you point out.

What you arrange

  • Ordering the container, choosing its size, and setting its delivery and pickup dates with the container company.
  • A legal, level spot for the container, and any permit or community approval that spot needs.
  • A lock for the container door, and the key.
  • Agreeing before the day who supplies the moving blankets, rope and straps.
  • Checking the container company's list of items it does not allow, and keeping those out of the load.

Not included

  • Delivering, moving, collecting or driving the container.
  • Ordering, paying for or scheduling the container on your behalf.
  • Permits, parking arrangements or community approvals for where the container sits.
  • Hazardous materials and anything else the container company prohibits.
  • Pianos, safes and similar specialist pieces unless the written plan names them.

Include in your request

A useful request says what you know and marks what is still uncertain.

  • The container company and the container's size.
  • The delivery date, the pickup date, and where the container will sit.
  • Which end you need help at: filling the container, emptying it, or both, with the town for each.
  • How far the container will sit from the door, and any steps on the way.
  • Whether the load is going straight to a new home or into storage first.

Ask about this job

Availability, exact duties, timing and labor pricing are confirmed in a written plan. A request starts a review; it does not reserve a crew or confirm a booking.
