Overflow Moving Labor in Berks County

What we do

• Pack, load, unload and unpack on your jobs, following your lead's instructions.
• Fill in for a helper who calls out, or add hands to a job that turned out larger than scheduled.
• Cover overflow days you schedule ahead, such as month-end or busy weekends.
• Meet the truck at the job address at the agreed start time.
• Report hours worked to the person you name for approval.

What you arrange

• Your operating authority, the customer contract and what the customer is charged.
• The truck, the driver and all transport between addresses.
• Equipment and materials for the job, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
• A named lead on site and a contact who approves the labor plan, hours and payment.
• Job details ahead of the day: date, start window, addresses, tasks, crew count and expected hours.

Not included

• Driving or operating the moving company's trucks.
• Acting as the carrier, or contracting with or billing your customer.
• Estimates, sales visits or customer service for your customer.
• Any commitment before capacity, scope and payment terms are confirmed in writing.
• Specialist items, such as pianos or safes, that the written plan does not list.

Include in your request

A useful request says what you know and marks what is still uncertain.

• Company name, the dispatcher's contact, and who approves and pays.
• Job date, start window, town, tasks, crew count needed and expected hours.
• Stairs, elevators, long carries and heavy items on the job.
• Whether this is a single job or a recurring overflow need.
