Mohnton Movers for Mill-Town Hills and Stairs
Mohnton is an old mill town tucked into the hills of Cumru Township, where Wyomissing Avenue and Church Street cross in the center of the borough and Nolde Forest spreads out off Route 625 just over the ridge. The housing is older twins and rowhomes built for mill workers, steep streets, tight staircases and small lots, with ranchers and newer developments spreading up into the township in the Governor Mifflin School District. A Mohnton job is a hill job: the truck parks where the grade allows, sometimes a few doors down, and every dresser and washer comes down a narrow mill-house stair, across a sloped sidewalk and up the ramp. In the township developments it flips to flat driveways and finished basements. You or your carrier bring the truck or POD; we are the arms and the dollies, at both ends when both are in Berks.
